Someone Special once Gave this to me....

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return. But what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel, and then regret it.

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.

Love is when you take away the feeling, the passion, and the romance in a relationship and find out that you still care for that person.

A sad thing in life is, you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be, and you just have to let go.

When the door of happiness closes, another opens. But often at times we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.

The best kind of friend is the kind whom you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you have ever had.

It is true that we do not know what we have until we lose it, but it is also true that we do not know what we have been missing until it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they will love you back. Do not expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart. But if it does not, be content that it grew in yours.

There are things you would love to hear that you would never hear from the person whom you would like to hear them from; but do not be so deaf as not to hear it from the one who says it from his heart.

Never say goodbye if you still want to try. Never give up if you still feel you can go on. Never say you do not love a person anymore if you cannot let go.

Love comes to those who still hope although they have been disappointed, to those who still believe although they have been betrayed, to those who still love although they have been hurt before.

It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone. But it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Do not go for looks; they can deceive. Do not go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Hope you find the one that makes you smile.

There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real! Hope you dream of that special someone.

Dream what you want to dream. Go where you want to go. Be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and only one chance to do all the things you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, and enough hope to make you happy.

Always put yourself in other's shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person, too.

A careless word may kindle strife. A cruel word may wreck a life. A timely word may level stress. A loving word may heal and bless.

The beginning of love is to let those we love just be themselves and not twist them with our own image. Otherwise, we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them.

The happiest of people do not necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried; for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear.

The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past. You can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying, and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one who is smiling, and everyone around you is crying.

Quote of the Day:

“Being happy doesn’t mean everything’s perfect… it means you’ve decided to see beyond the imperfections.”

Makeup Mondays With Mario: Cat Eye Tutorial

Mariel,

Creating a great cat eye with liquid liner can be challenging but with a little practice, I'm certain you can perfect it!

Here's how you should do it. Look into a mirror and tilt your head up a bit so that the lashline (where liner will go) isn't touching the crease of the eye. Gently stretch your eye outward to prevent blinking. Start lining the outer corner first, going towards the inner corner. Make sure that the line gets thinner towards the inner corners. Now go back to the outter corner and wing the liner out and up a bit for the cat eye effect. If you mess up, wipe the corners with a Q-tip and try again. Good luck, gorgeous!

xo,
Mario

Stars Heart Black & White Stripes!

TREND: Black and white striped dresses

WHO’S WEARING IT: Kim Kardashian, Milla Jovovich & Hilary Duff

HOW TO WEAR IT: The contrasting hues are so striking and chic, it's no wonder they're such a hit with celebs. Since horizontal stripes can be unflattering on most body types, make sure you belt your waist. Otherwise, diagonal or vertical stripes are the way to go! Halloween tip: We're going to pair our striped frock with black over-the-knee boots for a sexy jailbird costume!

SATC 2 Goes Global!

It's been a while since we've seen any Sex and the City 2 set pics, and we were beginning to have withdrawals! So you can imagine our relief when this photo of Sarah Jessica Parker dressed in her Carrie Bradshaw best surfaced today. Doesn't she look fab? The downtown-chic J'adore Dior T-shirt-and-full-skirt combo she had on looked a lot like her Fashion's Night Out outfit during New York Fashion Week—except SJP's not in the Big Apple. She's in Morocco. That's right, ladies, SATC 2 has gone global!

Paris, Hayden and Olivia Model Jimmy Choo for H&M

by Sydne

Half of you said you won't even bother braving the lines when H&M's Jimmy Choo collection launches on Saturday, Nov. 14. But does seeing celebrities wearing the clothing and accessories change your mind?

Last night, stars got decked out in Jimmy Choo designer Tamara Mellon's affordable collaboration with H&M. While we adored Paris Hilton's pink clutch ($59.95), we're not sure about the jumpsuit ($69.95). But it probably will look better without those Louboutin booties.

Paris should have worn the new studded sandals ($249) like Olivia Wilde, who made us excited to shop next weekend, with her rhinestone dress ($129) and star clutch ($99). Singer MIA, who performed at the party, totally worked the thigh-high boots ($299); Nicky Hilton looked sleek in a shimmering LBD ($199); and if Hayden Panettiere was taller, maybe she could have pulled off the sequined cardigan ($129) and leather pants ($129). For some reason the petite star reminded us of a grandma from Boca trying to look like she still had her teenage New York style. But that zebra chain purse ($99) is definitely on our wish list!

Seasonal Trend! Fall Into Tweed

TREND: Tweed

WHO'S WEARING IT: Sienna Miller (Rag & Bone), Jessica Biel, Blake Lively (Smythe)

HOW TO WEAR IT: Tweed brings a fall element to any outfit. Just look at Sienna's shorts! While similar ones are available, we prefer the sleekness of Jessica's pencil skirt. And we love how Blake made her boyfriend blazer edgy with leather pants. Since the material never goes out of style, it's OK to splurge on a coat or classic pair of pants.
