Monica Rose Blog: Kourtney Loving Miami

I love this army green military dress Kourtney is wearing from H&M. I got it from the showroom but I am sure it will be out in stores very soon. I paired it with her "vanity" YSL shoes available at Neiman Marcus. Her aviator glasses are by Dolce and Gabanna and her clutch is by Jimmy Choo.

I am feeling Scott’s leopard shoes! I have to ask him where he got them. I may need a pair for myself.

Jimmy Choo “Private” Patent Leather Sandals

Jimmy Choo footwear is known for gracing red carpets on the feet of celebrities and starlets. This does not mean that the footwear brand should be bought and worn exclusively by the rich and fabulous! For the vast majority of us who merely watch the Oscars on television but will never grace an awards show or movie premier ourselves, try Jimmy Choo’s “Private” Patent-Leather Sandal.

The “Private” has a thin sleek stiletto; a small platform for added comfort and a back-zip that makes the shoe easy to get on and off. Because it is a neutral, it is super wearable and thus a great investment. And if you ask me, everything looks better in patent! You too can feel like a movie star in these great nude heels!

Jimmy Choo “Quinta” Mirrored-Leather Sandal

You can never go wrong with a sexy gold sandal, but what I really love about this shoe is that the gold is burnished, which is a really nice effect. The multiple straps are sexy and will look beautiful on your foot. The heel is 4.5 inches, with no platform, so don’t forget your Foot Petals!

These sandals will look amazing with a dress for dinner. Gold is neutral so they can be worn with anything, but I think these sandals will look particularly good with jewel tones!

Khloe Kardashian takes a load off with Jimmy Choo

Man oh man, Khloe Kardashian has quite a firm grip on her handbag, doesn’t she? She was holding it so tightly that I barely had enough to look at in order to identify it. But, as I checked it out, I could clearly see that she was carrying a fabulous Jimmy Choo Rikki Shoulder Bag. I love the bag and I actually really lover her super strapy boots too. All those straps on the bag and her boots look great together.

Khloe was recently spotted waiting for her luggage at Dulles International Airport in Washington DC. Turns out she wasn’t there to make a public appearance for herself, but in fact was meeting up with hubby Lamar Odom. The newly weds were going to meet President Obama and see the White House. Lamar, his fellow LA Lakers teammates and their wives all had a chance to meet the President for their 2009 NBA Championship win.

Designer Shoe of the Week: Jimmy Choo Jersey Over-the-Knee Boots

Every shoe lover knows that the Queen of shoes is Sarah Jessica Parker—not only did she create a character (Carrie Bradshaw, of course) who was not only shoe obsessed, but also gave every woman a chance to gawk at her brand new, incredible shoes every week on HBO, but Sarah Jessica Parker herself is an incredible fashion icon herself. So, when I saw her this weekend in New York City, I immediately screamed “I need to see her shoes!” Her shoes were lovely, but the best part of my night occurred when she looked down at my feet and told me, “I love your shoes!”

I was wearing my leather over-the knee boots, but since they are last season, I decided I had to write about a similar, yet just as gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo Jersey Over-the-Knee boots. These are incredibly sexy, and I love the scrunched center of the boots. I prefer to wear over-the-knee boots with a skirt and a blazer, as I think that a tailored look makes the boots look chic rather than trashy.

Paris, Hayden and Olivia Model Jimmy Choo for H&M

by Sydne

Half of you said you won't even bother braving the lines when H&M's Jimmy Choo collection launches on Saturday, Nov. 14. But does seeing celebrities wearing the clothing and accessories change your mind?

Last night, stars got decked out in Jimmy Choo designer Tamara Mellon's affordable collaboration with H&M. While we adored Paris Hilton's pink clutch ($59.95), we're not sure about the jumpsuit ($69.95). But it probably will look better without those Louboutin booties.

Paris should have worn the new studded sandals ($249) like Olivia Wilde, who made us excited to shop next weekend, with her rhinestone dress ($129) and star clutch ($99). Singer MIA, who performed at the party, totally worked the thigh-high boots ($299); Nicky Hilton looked sleek in a shimmering LBD ($199); and if Hayden Panettiere was taller, maybe she could have pulled off the sequined cardigan ($129) and leather pants ($129). For some reason the petite star reminded us of a grandma from Boca trying to look like she still had her teenage New York style. But that zebra chain purse ($99) is definitely on our wish list!

Handbag ~ Pick of the Day: Jimmy Choo for H&M lookbook released

We had a fairly lively debate a few months ago when the Jimmy Choo for H&M collaboration was announced, and now we’ve finally got a comprehensive look at what the partnership will yield when it hits store shelves November 14.

The collection includes shoes, boots, handbags, jewelry, and a few items of clothing, all done in the slightly 80s glam-punk look that Jimmy Choo has been fond of lately. There are only a few bags, but they’re certainly worth a look. Most of the bags and shoes are real leather, so this is not nearly as bargain basement as a lot of low-end collaborations are. I wouldn’t call myself overly impressed, but rather pleasantly surprised. Most of the collection is genuinely attractive, although the bags are not the high point.
