Departure Restaurant + Lounge

WHO: Chef Bryan

WHAT: Departure Restaurant + Lounge

WHERE: 525 SW Morrison Street, Portland, Oregon 97204 P 503-802-5370

WHEN: Serving Dinner: Tuesday – Thursday 4pm-12am, Friday and Saturday 4pm-2am
Happy Hour: Tuesday – Saturday 4pm-6pm

WHY: Up on the hotel's top floor, you'll find Departure, a sleek lounge and modern Asian restaurant helmed by former Nobu chef Bryan Emperor. This is as much a destination for cocktails as for food - the bar is presided over one of the Northwest's most celebrated mixologists, Sean Skvarka (who also happens to be gay). Try his Tasho Macho (Thai chili-ginger vodka, muddled Thai basil, lemon, lime, and cock 'n' bull ginger beer), while enjoying views of the city skyline from the outdoor rooftop patio.

The dinner menu is perfect for sharing a selection of Emperor's beautifully executed, creative delicacies, which fall into several fun categories, such as dim sum and kushiyaki (skewers grilled over Japanese charcoal). There's a knockout pork-bone ramen, hamachi sashimi with white truffle oil, ethereal Kobe meatballs with foie gras, and pork-belly skewers with Mongolian mountain salt. Save room for a lightly sweetened coconut panna cotta with honey caramel.

Get The Face! Adrienne Bailon on the set of Fabulous’ music video

I recently did Adrienne Bailon’s makeup for an appearance in Fabulous’ music video and used all NARS makeup to “get the face.” She was wearing a beautiful bright yellow dress so I went for a bronzed, sunkissed look with a smokey eye. I began working with Adrienne when she was a Cheetah Girl about a year and a half ago and she’s one of my favorites! She loves makeup!

GET THE FACE - All products by NARS

Skin - The new Firming Foundation all over skin and I set it with loose powder. I mixed the new Duo Concealer under her eyes and on eyelids only.

Eyes - Duo Eyeshadow in Scorching Sun. Use the golden color on the brow bone and the more orangy color all over the lid. In the crease I used Surabaya Duo Eyeshadow (the lighter shade in the crease and the darker blended on the outter corners) Also, use the darker shade to smoke on the lower lid. I lined the upper and inner lids with Blackmoon liner. The brows are filled in with the Jodhpur brow pencil. Several coats of the Black Orchid Mascara on top and bottom lashes.

Cheeks - To contour her face, I used the Casino bronzing powder. If you have lighter skin, try the Laguna color. For blush, I used Orgasm on the apples of the cheeks and to highlight, I blended The Multiple in Maldives on the cheek bones and alittle on the bridge of her nose.

Lips are lined with Bomeo lip pencil, followed by Barbarella lipstick and Orgasm lip gloss.

Try it out… its a good look for evening

Khloe K Blog: Parties in Kansas and Louisville!

Last week Malika and I went from Miami to Kansas City because I was hosting a party at KC Live! It was really and the weather was soooo nice.

The next morning we had to leave Kansas City to head to Louisville to host another party there. While en route, I had a four hour layover in Chicago...it was BRUTAL!

I have to say Louisville had a little more energy if I am comparing the two cities but I loved them both! Hope you dolls enjoy the pics!

Nicole Richie's Blog: Who wore Jet by John Eshaya better?

We first saw Nicole Richie wearing these white Jet Thrasher skinny jeans when she landed in Toronto on April 21. She wore her jeans with a black coat, black hat, a cozy scarf, Thierry Lasry "Velvety" sunglasses, her Balenciaga Weekender bag and Yves Saint Laurent trib two platform pumps.

Lindsay Lohan wore the same pair of jeans in L.A, on May 9, with a sheer top, Gucci clogs and a Gucci bag.

In Nicole's closet: denim shorts

Miss Richie likes to show off her legs, with legs like hers, who wouldn't want to?
Nicole Richie has been a long time fan of denim shorts.
She wears them with summery tops, super-high heels or flats and she looks so great.
Here are a few of Nicole's denim shorts:

Abercrombie & Fitch "Nicolette" light destroy denim shorts

Siwy "Camilla" shorts

Sass & Bide Hulsey Parks high waisted shorts in Arsenic

Anlo "Cammie" denim shorts in Jaipur
