TREND: Patterned tights
WHO’S WEARING IT: Taylor Swift, AnnaLynne McCord and Elizabeth Banks
HOW TO WEAR IT: The haute hosiery not only lets you wear your fave minis even when it's freezing, it also injects a dose of fun into any outfit. Whatever your pattern preference, get a pair that's sheer enough to let some sexy skin peek through, like Elizabeth's and Taylor's. Opaque versions like AnnaLynne's just fall flat.
TREND: Leopard fur coats
WHO'S WEARING IT: Alexa Chung, Miley Cyrus and Ashley Greene
HOW TO WEAR IT: Look glam even when it's below zero outside with a fabulous leopard (preferably faux) fur coat. A long style would look fierce with a dressy outfit, while a cropped version will give bite to a casual ensemble. When rocking the wild jacket, tame the urge to wear anything else that isn't simple. Even though Alexa paired hers with a black dress, the dot print and eye-catching neckline—not to mention the layered necklaces—took her look from roaring hot to roaring hot mess.
TREND: Marble-print dresses
WHO'S WEARING IT: Kate Beckinsale (J. Mendel), Leighton Meester (Cushnie et Ochs), Olivia Palermo (Carlos Miele)
HOW TO WEAR IT: These cosmic sheaths will give your look a dreamy and romantic effect. We love Leighton's and Kate's figure-hugging versions, but Olivia's roomy number is more practical for everyday. Wear it to the office with a black blazer and matching patent flats. Then transform your look for night by adding sky-high heels and a festive clutch.
TREND: Fur vests
WHO'S WEARING IT: Katharine McPhee, Khloé Kardashian, Elizabeth Hurley
HOW TO WEAR IT: When it comes to this trend, always remember that less is more. Too much fur and you'll look like Furby. That's why we recommend a cropped vest layered over a tank, tee or long-sleeved top. In white or black, the fuzzy piece adds a glam factor to your evening look, as Liz demonstrated in London. But to avoid looking bulky on top, we suggest keeping the vest open.
Nicole Richie paid a weekend visit to Andy Lecompte salon in West Hollywood on Saturday, December 19.
She chose a comfortable outfit, rocking her favourite skinny jeans from Jet and Lanvin flats.
Miss Richie accented the look with a turquoise Balenciaga "Work" bag, a leopard print lightweight scarf and Thierry Lasry "Velvety" sunglasses.
You may have seen my post last week about Soles 4 Souls, a wonderful organization that provides shoes to people around the world who can't afford to buy their own. As you know, I have my own shoe company, ShoeDazzle, and we thought it would be really great if we could help Soles 4 Souls reach their goal of donating 50,000 shoes in 50 days! So... ShoeDazzle are donating $5 (2 pairs of shoes) to Soles 4 Souls for every person that registers TODAY and enters the promo code "Sole4." So far Soles 4 Souls have donated over 18,000 pairs of shoes and I'm really confident we can help them reach their goal.
If you haven't already signed up for ShoeDazzle this is a great opportunity to get some fabulous shoes and do a little something special for someone else this holiday season!
Khloe and I recently stopped by Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show, On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, at KIIS FM for a little chat. Bruce even jumped on the phone and joined us. You can hear our full interview on Ryan's website.
