Kim K's Blog: A Visit to the Children's Feeding Center

We all went to a feeding center where kids and older women were fed twice daily. We made them milk by mixing powder and hot water and fed them slices of bread. These kids were so appreciative! Khloe had a camera and they were all in such awe of it! She would take pictures and then show them their own photo and they would scream! They were so lovable and they were crying when we left!

The older women have their own shop where they make everything from clothes to beaded jewelry. Khloe and I bought a bunch of really cool bracelets! They all sang and danced, which was pretty emotional. This was one of my favorite moments from the whole trip!

Kim K's Blog: Make It Matte This Fall

This fall it's all about matte nail polish!! You can alternate matte and glossy by doing a matte nail and a glossy tip or vice versa. I have been wearing an army green nail polish by Orly called Enchanted Forest from their Once Upon a Time fairy tail inspired collection and that's my new obsession! It's like a deep forest green and it's so gorgeous! I might try to matte-ify the tips with a darker color and see how it looks!

Also OPI has the best matte top coat that makes black look like rubber! I love it when new nail trends come out. We were all into the skittles colored nails this summer and now we're making it dark and sexy for the fall.

Monica's Style File: My Three O's Look for Less

My stylist Monica Rose has done another amazing 'Get the Look' post on her blog! I loved this outfit I wore to the Three Olive's bubble flavor vodka party! It was so vibrant with the zebra print dress and turquoise clutch.

Check out her post to see how you can recreate my look for less! These pieces are a total bargain and look so much like the items I wore. Monica does such a great job at finding these, so make sure you thank her!

If you missed her 'Get the Look' for my night out with the girls at STK look, make sure you check it out!

Kim K's Blog: Lion Cubs Welcome us to Africa

After we met with students from the Leadership Academy, we headed over to Lee-Anne Summers' house for a cocktail party and dinner! The dinner was to welcome us all to Africa and it was a chance for us to share what our experience had been like so far.

Lee Ann wanted to make this dinner special so she surprised us with baby lion cubs!!!! I had never in my life gone to any dinner party like this! These cubs make the loudest roar but were so tiny and harmless! They brother and sister 10-week-old cubs. This was a dinner we will never forget!

Kim K's Blog: Quick Trim: The Next Step in My Lifestyle Change

Khloe has always wanted to get in better shape and I am always looking to find anything I can to keep me fit and toned! I love my curves, and now we've found a way to keep them looking their best! I wanted to tone up even more after months of doing my workout DVDs and lose that last five pounds I had been dying to shift! Khloe and I found a solution with Quick Trim.

Using Quick Trim helped boost my metabolism and jump start my weight loss. The QuickTrim 14 day system comes with a complete diet and exercise program as well as recipes. These products are great for an instant results, but combining them with a great workout regime and diet plan can give you amazing longer lasting results.

Quick Trim also have a 48 Hour Super Diet Detox, which removes toxic build ups to help you feel healthier, more slender and rejuvenated in just 48 hours! Detoxing your body of all toxins is the best first step to take if you plan on changing your workout regime and diet, because you can totally cleanse yourself and start afresh. Make sure you cleanse and detox and then flush it out! You need to get rid of all the toxins! But maybe my favorite product... the Celuslim! You all know I've had my issues with cellulite in the past, so this one caught my eye. It attacks cellulite by breaking down excess fat stored in the cells.

I wanted to show you guys some before and after pics so you can see the difference that working out, eating healthily and using Quick Trim has made. I've never been one for quick fixes, and I know now that losing weight, getting toned, and staying that way is completely changing your lifestyle. Ever since I began working out and created my Fit in Your Jeans by Friday DVDs I've been inspired to keep it up! It's definitely a lifestyle change, but when there are products available like Quick Trim, it's so much easier to lose the extra pounds you've been dying to get rid of!

Kim K's Blog: African Leadership Academy: Future World Leaders!

I was so impressed with these students. They were so smart and so ambitious! The Diamond Empowerment Fund is going to help sponsor this amazing school called the African Leadership Academy. The kids were kind enough to meet with us and share their stories of how they basically came from nothing and have had the opportunity to get free college funding, and when they graduate if they cannot find a job then they never have to pay back their tuition fees. They supply all the skills to create their own business so they can start working while still at the university.

Good luck to them in everything they do! The great future leaders of Africa will definitely come from these schools!

GET THE FACE - Kim Kardashian's sexy, smokey eye.

I did this smokey-eyed look on Kim recently here in NYC for the Three Olive’s Bubble Flavored Vodka party. Beleive it or not but this was actually the first time that I’ve done an all-black smokey eye on her, so for us, it was a different look. When I saw the cool outfit she was going to wear, I thought it was the right time to finally do the really dark eye’s I’d been wanting to try on her. Here’s how you can “get the face:”

Skin - I prepped her skin with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer first. I let her skin absorb that for a couple of minutes before applying Mat Velvet + Matyfying Foundation by Make Up For Ever. I use this foundation from time to time. It gives a very velvety and pore-less look to the skin. For powder, I used very little of Subliminal Purity Mineral Based Loose Powder by Calvin Klein to set the foundation with a powder puff.

I used Dior’s DiorSkin Sculpt Lifting Smoothing Concealer under the eyes after all of the eye makeup was complete. (When working with black eye shadow, it will almost always fall down a bit and make a mess so clean the under eye area with a makeup wipe, then apply concealer.)

Her eyebrow’s are filled in softly with MAC’s Cork eyeshadow - with more of the focus on the outter corners of the brow.

Eyes - Apply Shu Uemuras Painting Liner Eye Liner in MBlack all over the eye lids and on the lower lash line as well. This is a long-lasting and highly pigmented black cream liner. To set that eyeliner and blend it up and out towards the crease, I used Lorac’s Eye Shadow in Black. The inner rim of the eye is lined with MAC’s white eye pencil in Fascinating. Using all black on the eyes can sometimes make them appear smaller so the white pencil on the inner rim is a great trick for opening your eyes. Finish off with two or three coats of L’oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black.

Cheeks - Apply Desire by NARS ( the perfect pink) on the apples of cheeks and blend well. The face is framed in Casino Bronzer by NARS.

Lips - I lined her lips with MAC’s lip pencil in Subculutre and used Dior Addict High Shine Lipstick in Pink Protege.

Do you love Kim’s look from this event? Monica Rose, Kim’s amazing fashion stylist posted “how to get Kim’s look for less!” on her blog. Check it out - http://monicarosestylist.blogspot.com/2009/07/how-to-get-kim-kardashians-look-for.html

GET THE FACE: Kim Kardashian, NYC to LA

This look is actually very simple to recreate and doesn’t require so many products. I did this makeup on Kim in the morning for the Pepsi Max Bullrun rally in NYC and she was able to use it later that evening in LA for the Aces and Angels Celebrity Poker Party that she hosted at the Playboy Mansion. All it takes for your makeup to last all day and night is some powder and gloss touch ups. Here’s how to “get the face” -

Skin - I started out with a primer (Smashbox photo finish primer) all over her skin. This primer helps the makeup to last longer on the skin. After, I applied Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating Makeup all over the skin. I set the foundation with Laura Mercier loose setting powder. For concealer, I used diorskin sculp lifting smoothing concealer under the eyes and set that with Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder.

Brows - I filled her brows with MAC’s brow pencil in Lingering, followed by a little bit of MAC’s eyeshadow in cork on the outter corners of the brows.

Eyes - Apply b-dazzle by GIELLA custom blend cosmetics on the brow bone and on the tear ducts (inner corner of eyes). Use Antiqued eyeshadow by MAC all over the lid. Blend it up to the crease and out a bit past the outter corners of the eyes. Use antiqued shadow again along the lower lash line and blend. On the inner rim of the eye, I used MAC’s eyeliner in fascinating. Try Lancome’s Hypnose mascara on top and bottom lashes to finish the eyes.

Cheeks - To warm up the skin, I used Smashbox bronzer in Suntan Matte around the frame of the face and on the hollows of the cheeks. For a subtle glow, I applied the Copacabana multiple by NARS on the bridge of the nose and on the cheek bones followed by Peaches blush by MAC on the apples of the cheeks.

Lips are lined and filled in with the #50 lip pencil by Make Up For Ever followed by MAC lipglass in Queen Bee.

Khloe K Blog: Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend ;)

Kim, Reggie and I took a tour around the De Beers Diamond Trading Company center in Botswana to see firsthand how finding and sorting through rough diamonds is done.

DTC Botswana is the largest diamond sorting facility in the world. De Beers only sells diamonds from its own mines so it guarantees that its diamonds are 100% conflict free. They account for 40% of the world's supply of rough diamonds and they have provided hundreds of new jobs in Botswana. Their work has had a dramatic effect on the economy there!

It was so cool going behind the scenes of diamond sorting -- the process was AMAZING!!!
