I have a few favorites when it comes to luminizer. LORAC makes a really good one that comes in two shades. A pearly color for lighter skin and a golden/bronze shade for darker tones. Sometimes I will mix a bit of both together to create my own shade. This luminizer is oil-free and great for sensitive skin. You can luminize your face by mixing some of your foundation and/or moisturizer with the luminizer. I prefer to apply it on the cheekbones with my finger and blend with a damp sponge. Also use a bit on the bridge of your nose and center of lips. Try to not use powder directly on top of the luminizer and instead only on your t-zone. If you really want your face blinged-out, brush some shimmer powder over the liquid luminizer only on cheekbones and only at night.

Thanks for visiting Makeup Mondays with Mario!

Diddy's Wax Figure

Diddy unveiled his wax doppleganger at Madame Tussauds New York.

Diddy spent more than an hour with a team of Madame Tussauds studio artists to start the creation process with him. The artists took hundreds of precise measurements and photos, to ensure exact matches for his eye color and skin tone.

Diddy also donated a replica of the outfit he wore in his I Am King fragrance ad, which includes a white Battistoni dinner jacket, black dinner trousers by Jones New York, Hugo Boss white tuxedo shirt, black Ferragamo shoes and a black bowtie, cufflinks and shirt studs by Pronto Uomo.

If you visit Diddy's wax figure and get close enough, you might catch a whiff of "unique masculine freshness, sparkling fruits and sensual woods"...because Diddy, being Diddy, provided Madame Tussauds with a bottle of I Am King to spray on his wax twin. Personally, I'm partial to Unforgivable, his first fragrance.

Thanks to Amy at Startraks Photo for sending these exclusive photos of Kim and Khole riding a Power Rover. The Power Rover is a cool bike that people can pedal to help light up the 2010 numbers in Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

Kim and Khole’s fans also can ride the very same rover they used – just visit the Duracell Smart Power Lab in Times Square in December to be a part of this exciting opportunity!!

<3 Thanks Startraks for the photos!

V Magazine Says "One Size Fits All": But Does It?

by Sydne Summer

We just received a sneak peek of V Magazine's "One Size Fits All" editorial shot by Terry Richardson. "The Size Issue," which hits newsstands Jan. 14, features plus-size model and author of Hungry Crystal Renn (right) alongside Jacquelyn Jablonski (left), a more traditionally sized model.

The concept that fashion can flatter every figure is commendable—if every figure was truly represented. In 2004, Size USA determined that women's median height was 5'4" and 38-32-41 were the average measurements for white women between the ages of 18 and 25. At 5'9" with 38-31-41 measurements, V's "plus-size" model is thinner than the American standard.

Instead of celebrating women of all sizes, the above photo simply reminds us of the time Kim Kardashian was airbrushed for Complex....

Back in March, the magazine accidentally published an un-Photoshopped picture of Kim (left) on its website before replacing it with an airbrushed shot (right). The then-curvy reality star defended her cellulite in her blog—before adding that she had slimmed down since the shoot. Now she's tinier than ever.
