Sheiks And The City

Sex And The City's fashionista heroines might seem as much part of New York as Broadway and the Statue of Liberty.

But the producers of their muchanticipated second big-screen outing have other ideas.

So get ready for Sheikhs And The City. Or maybe Sex And The Desert.

According to showbiz insider Jenni Falconer, the latest gossip is that part of the sequel, which is currently being filmed, will be set in the Middle East. The Scots GMTV presenter has been working in the Big Apple and gleefully picking up the latest rumours.

Jenni, 33, yesterday told her followers on Twitter: " Spoiler - Sex And The City 2 gossip.

"Apparently Liza Minnelli may be on board and part of it is set in the Middle East."

She also posted a photograph of character Carrie Bradshaw's fictional house, complete with fake flowers outside her door.

Jenni added: "Met someone working on the production and they told me the goss. They are filming until January."

The movie's plot is a closely guarded secret, although there have been rumours it could see Carrie - played by Sarah Jessica Parker - and husband Big - Chris Noth - move to London. Producers were also said to be toying with Big taking a job in Dubai.

The United Arab Emirates' government rejected a request to film there for "moral" reasons but Jenni's post suggests an alternative Middle East location has been found.

SJP, who recently became mum to twins through a surrogate in real life, and the gang could also be hearing the patter of tiny feet on screen. Several British stars, including Katie Price and Victoria Beckham, are rumoured to have auditioned for the role of an English nanny. Jenni, who was filming for GMTV, also found time to play, with a visit to an exclusive private members' club.

She wrote: "There are bikini-clad fire eaters dancing by the rooftop pool. We hope we don't have to join in."

Handbag ~ Pick of the Day: Marc Jacobs Rockabilly Leather Bag

The Marc Jacobs Rockabilly Leather Bag is yet another instance where I find myself loving and I mean absolutely loving Marc Jacobs. The impeccable MJ was able to to take a leather bag and add a laser-cut swirl pattern that doesn’t destroy the bag, it makes the bag. Since it is black leather, a simple single strap would be a great way to sport this edgy bag. Add a splash of silver-tone hardware, lattice detail at the side rings and to me, the best part, the bag is lined in fuchsia satin that sneaks through from time to time. Marc, let’s grab a cappuccino, talk fashion and realize that we are long lost friends – I’ll sport this bag! buy through Net-a-Porter for $1350.

Designer Shoe Pick of the Day: Dolce Vita Studded Pump

Dolce Vita is one of my favorite lower-priced lines, and they have some really fabulous shoes this season including this super hot studded pump.

I love the shape of the pump and the allover stud detail. They are available in gray suede and black leather, and each has a different vibe. The gray suede is very chic, and it will look amazing with more laid-back outfits. Think denim. The black leather is a little more edgy and will work with leggings and a tunic top or skinny jeans and a leather jacket.

No matter which color you decide on, these shoes are an easy way to add an edgy vibe to your wardrobe. Plus, the price is fabulous!
