Guerlain Les Parisiennes

Since the creation of L’Eau de Cologne Imperiale for the Empress Eugenie in 1853, Guerlain has earned the title of Her Majesty’s official perfumer. Since then the Maison Guerlain has delighted women and men all around the world with its exclusive and refined fragrances.

There is a French saying that Guerlain fragrances run in families. From mothers to daughters, the tradition is continued. Over the years La Maison Guerlain has evolved creating new fragrances and discontinuing others. Recently it released a collection of exclusives fragrances from its archives. The collection is called “Les Parisiennes” and includes eight fragrances presented in the emblematic “Les Abeilles,” which is the bee bottle symbol of Guerlain.

Unfortunately the fragrances are only available at The Guerlain stores in France, but since my husband went to Paris on a business trip I asked him to bring me the entire collection. The truth is all the fragrances are beyond exceptional and, of course, collectible, so if you are lucky enough to get your hands on one, save it preciously.

Navy shoes can be hard to find, the cutouts of this sexy shoe will showcase your foot fabulously or you can pair them over colorful tights. There’s some debate over when you can wear suede. Personally, I prefer to save it for the fall and winter, especially since it’s so hot where I live. But these shoes will look amazing with jeans or try them over tights with a sweater dress.

D.S Pick of the Day: Christian Louboutin Ronda Dina Platform Pumps

I love the light colored silk, and the black lace overlay is so beautiful and delicate. It almost looks like intricate lingerie. The platform and the 5.5-inch heel are extremely sexy, and I’m also glad there is an ankle strap to secure these shoes in place.

I immediately picture pairing these pumps with a beautiful black dress so the shoes will really stand out, but I also love how Net-a-Porter has paired them with leather pants, a slouchy tank and a cardigan sweater. Regardless of how you wear them, you will definitely get some admiring glances in these sexy shoes!

Designer Handbag of the Week: Christian Louboutin “Le Cadeau” Clutch

An outfit is never complete without a beautiful bag. I love this cute and funky looking clutch from Christian Louboutin’s Fall 2009 Collection. It’s named “cadeau,” which means gift in French. This clutch takes its inspiration from the metallic star-shaped bows that we stick on the top of gifts. Just looking at this clutch makes me as happy as receiving a gift!
