Eva Longoria in Kaufman Franco
THE CLOTHES
It was a sad day when Sex And The City ended. It didn't not cry. OK I shed a slight tear as my Wednesday evenings would no longer been the same.
This show introduced many to Manolo Blahnik's, Jimmy Choo's, Cosmopolitan's, Bungalow 8 and for some the 5 character of the show, New York City.
I had mixed emotions on the announcement of the new Sex And The City Movie as I am worried that they would not be able to recreate the magic, but since seeing these pictures I became excited about the 6 character of the show....THE CLOTHES.
I believe the clothes for this movie will be off the scale. I am already in love with Carrie's outfit from these scenes.
The shoes are from Dior, the outfit maybe Gucci, but is must be Spring 2008, so no confirmation yet.
Sarah Jessica Paker's Parisian "Covet" Wardrobe
The dress is a beautiful dress by Christian Lacroix from his Spring 2006 collection.
In August Marie Claire, Sarah explains the reason the dress was chosen.
"Christian Lacroix chose this outrageously beautiful, billowy white gown for me from his archive collection specifically for the Covet campaign. Mr. Lacroix not only designs dresses but he creates art. He designs with drama and glamour in mind. This dress in particular , when we saw the photographs of the collection , we thought ?oh that would be amazing'. It's real couture, we're in Paris, and we're standing in an iconic location, the Place Vend? and just everything about it was so perfect. The story would not be complete without the drama of this dress."
Just to finish the Parisian theme Sarah wore the very distinctive - by the red sole - Christian Louboutin shoes. If there ever were an award for ‘Best in Shoe Product Placement in Advertising’, it would go to this commercial.

Victoria Beckham To Give The US Style Tips
That Extra Half an Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything in Between will be a small, handbag-sized book that includes practical advice on fashion, beauty and personal style.
"Victoria has a fantastic sense of personal style and panache, and That Extra Half an Inch helps women make the most of everything they have in dressing for any occasion," said Harper Entertainment paperback publisher Carrie Kania, who made the deal for U.S. rights along with executive editor Laurie Chittenden. "While Europeans have long been aware of her role as a fashion trendsetter, we want to help bring that sensibility to American women as well.
Who Wore Erica Davis Better?
Kim Kardashian first wore this Erica Davis dress to the T-Mobile SIDEKICK iD Launch.
Actress Rebecca Romijn wore the same dress to the "Ugly Betty: The Complete First Season" DVD Launch Party.
Both women had the sense to team this dress up with nude shoes. Kim accessorized with a clutch and Rebecca accessorized with a necklace.
I think I will give it to Kim.

Who Wore Catherine Malandrino Better?
Nicole Richie wore this Catherine Malandrino dress with sexy Louboutin's early June for her appearance on The David Letterman Show.
Brittany Snow wore this dress yesterday for the "Hairspray" Premiere in LA
Personally I did not like either of the shoes the ladies choose, but I love the yellow in preference to the white.
Shoes as Symbols
Carrie : I tried the trapeze yesterday for that piece that I'm writing.
Charlotte : I could never! I have the most terrible fear of heights.
Carrie : Well, I do not. You've seen my shoes.
Leave it to Pat Field to create a new shoe by putting mesh around a Dior pump. The decision to broaden Carrie's label collection was a conscientious decision by the movie's director and writer, the incomparable Michael Patrick King. "In the series, Carrie was all about Manolo, which is still a mystical word for the audience, but we didn't want them to think that Carrie holds onto one label," explains King. "And we decided she should be in a lot of labels, but the Manolo does have a big part." One blue style, in particular, is the shoe of the movie, custom-made by Mr. Blahnik. "I love what Manolo made for the movie," says Sarah Jessica Parker. "It's a beautiful shoe."
Fresh Wardrobe Perspective
Carrie (referring to the politician she dated): I figured we made a good match. I was adept at fashion; he was adept at politics. And really, what's the difference? They're both about recycling shop-worn ideas and making them seem fresh and inspiring.
Costume designer Pat Field is also a recycling master—one need only look at the way she reimagines Carrie's Dior Extreme sandal, here again for the third time.
Snow Boots
Carrie: I've spent forty thousand dollars on shoes and I have no place to live? I will literally be the old woman who lived in her shoes!
Snow shoes for the average woman are a bit different than the pair of Sigerson Morrison booties Carrie wears during fashion week. Hopefully this pair is weatherproof, as we know how much sentimental value her footwear holds. When Aidan's dog, Pete, gnawed on a pair of Manolos in an old episode, it was "not good," as Carrie might say.
Through Thick and Thin
Carrie: I realized I was in the throes of an existential crisis. One that not even the sight of this season's Dolce & Gabbana strappy sandals could lift me out of.
Carries fashion picks tend to reflect her mood, so it's no surprise that Carrie's feeling a bit down in this October scene wearing black from hat to Alaia-booted toes. In the best of times and worst, Carrie's shoes have been there. Well, except when she got mugged in season three and the thief took off with the strappy pink Manolos, the ones she bought for "half off at a sample sale!"
Sandals Over Socks? Carrie Can!
Carrie's answering machine: I'm not home, but my shoes are. Leave them a message.
Shoes have always played a starring role in the series. Think back to the episode in which Carrie splurged on a pair of Christian Louboutins to wear on her last date with Big before he moved to Napa. During the date, Carrie gets the call that Miranda's in labor, so she and Big, via horse-drawn carriage, race to the hospital, where Miranda's water breaks all over Carrie's lovely shoes. Thankfully, there are always more shoes in the closet, like this Dior Extreme Python which Carrie wears with over-the-knee argyle socks.
Strap Happy
Stanford: Ooo, Gucci and Dolce and Dior... Carrie: Oh my!
The movie takes place over the course of a year, so viewers get to see everything from sandals to sandals over socks to peep-toes to booties. Of choosing brands, costume designer Pat Field said, "It's really about the piece, how it incorporates into the scene and with the character herself." This Proenza Schouler pair fit right in as Carrie returns books to the library.
Shoes, Glorious Shoes
Carrie: It's really hard to walk in a single woman's shoes—that's why you sometimes need really special shoes.
Years ago, Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw led a shoe revolution; she gave shoe fanatics worldwide not only a voice, but also the courage to bring their well-soled selves out from behind boxes and boxes of former shame. Spoiled by six seasons of incredible footwear, we headed into the movie screening with high hopes.
We were not disappointed. "I wear the Dior Extreme a lot in the movie, and those I just love," says Sarah Jessica Parker. This brown pair is the Python version and she wears a black pair as well.
Who Wore Azzedine Alaia Better?
Haven't We Seen That Outfit Before?
Victoria Beckham was in LA this weekend and it looks like she took her two favourite outfits with her.
Everything from the 29th April last year (right) to the 29th April this year (left) is the same apart from the shoes. Victoria is wearing the same red skirt by Louis Vuitton, the same red top, the same Asprey alligator handbag from the 167 collection, but this year red YSL tribute pumps.
The differences are the hair, the shoes, the top tucked (in 2006).
Victoria wore these red YSL pumps on her birthday when she went to dinner with her husband.

Celebrities Love Roberto Cavalli
Signature style: opulent, flamboyant, feminine, powerful and extremely sexy.
Roberto Cavalli loves to embellish and pile on the glitz and glamour to whatever he's creating. In his vocabulary there are no such words as 'moderation', 'understated' and 'plain'. Cavalli's favourite materials to work with are animal and reptile skins, leather and suede - which he in turn dip-dyes, splatters with crystals or festoons with feathers.
Kate Hudson is truly AMAZING in this gown from the Fall 2005 collection. She wore this gown to The Skeleton Key Premiere in London. She looks just a good if not better than the model which is really rare.
This dress was taken from the Spring 2007 collection. Jennifer Lopez suits Cavalli's designs as she embodies his style of being opulent, flamboyant, feminine, powerful and extremely sexy.
Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie:
This dress is from the Spring 2006 collection which both Paris and Nicole wore (while they were enemies) on 2 different photo shoots. Paris' was for Elle while Nicole posed for another magazine. Who wore it better?
This Spring 2006 dress deserves to be on the red carpet, but on this occasion it was used for Paris' Elle photo shoot. It is very cute on Paris.
Trust Paris to choose the only dress in the Spring 2004 collection that was nipple bearing.
Victoria Beckham has picked Roberto Cavalli to be her personal fashion designer, in her determination to "stand out from the crowd".
She gave the style guru an exclusive contract to dress her for every occasion, and Cavalli is taking his position very seriously.

Who Wore Reem Acra Better? Lisa Rinna or Gabriella Union
This Reem Acra gown is from the Resort 2009 collection. It's not the same dress which Lisa Edelstein wore to the SAG Awards this weekend, although they look very similar.
Lisa Rinna arrived at the 2008 Emmy Awards back in September wearing a white Reem Acra Resort 2009 asymmetrical gown, with a jeweled detail on the shoulder. For me this was one of her best ever looks.
Actress Gabrielle Union recently wore the same dress in black when she arrived to host the BET Honors event in Washington.
Both wore silver jewels to compliment their gown

Which Sex And The City Character fits your bridal style?
One of the many things we love about Sex and the City is how the show taught us that it's OK to live stylishly - and that you can and should do it on your own terms. Each of the girls has a distinct look to go with her personality, and while we believe that there's a little bit of each of the girls in every woman, most of us tend to favor one girl's style over the others.
We've had some fun imagining what a wedding (or, let's face it for most of the girls it's what ANOTHER wedding) would look like for each of the girls.
Whose wedding style more closely matches your own?
