Get Kim's Face: @ 2009 Emmy's Awards

I want to say a big Thanks to Spoiled Pretty Blog for sharing her exclusive interview with Mario Dedivanovic (Kim Kardashian’s Make Up Artist) on Get Kim’s Face @ 2009 Emmy Awards Beauty Tips. .

"Kim was wearing a gorgeous white gown and I wanted the focus to be on her eyes. I had custom blended this pretty shade of blue shadow at GIELLA custom blend cosmetics in NYC and was waiting for the perfect occasion to dip into it. With her hair slicked back and a white off the shoulder gown, I was certain that it would work with the rest of the face done clean and dewy, with a nude matte lip."

"I prepped Kim’s skin with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer first, followed by Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating Makeup all over. To set skin, I applied a bit of Laura Mercier's Loose Setting Powder in Beige. Her brows are filled in with Diorshow Brow Styler Ultra-Fine Precision Brow Pencil, concentrating on the outer corners."

"For her eyes, I sprayed a bit of water on an eyeshadow brush (this picks up and holds loose eyeshadow better) and dipped it into Aquagirl eyeshadow by GIELLA - custom blended by yours truly ;-). I applied Aquagirl all over the eyelids up to the crease, blending well so there are no lines. "

"On the inner corners of the eyes, apply GIELLA's b-dazzle eyeshadow. Use the leftovers on the brush to lightly sweep onto the brow bone. You dont want the brow bone to appear very shiny or light as it will look dated. Smoke Aquagirl shadow along the lower lash line as well. For more drama, you can take it all the way into the inner corners. Use Fascinating Eye Kohl by MAC on the inner rims of the eyes. Curl lashes a couple of times and apply two coats of Lancome Hypnose Mascara on top and bottom lashes. If you want super long lashes like Kim, apply a few individual long lashes to each eye. "

"Kim's skin is bronzed with Casino by NARS. Use a bit on a brush and apply it along the hairline. With a smaller brush, apply more onto the hollows of the cheeks. Use Orgasm by NARS on the apples of the cheeks. To highlight the cheekbones and bridge of nose, I swept a tiny bit of b-dazzle shadow by GIELLA and blended with a clean brush. "

"I lined Kim's lips with Subculture by MAC, then blended a dab of the Dior foundation to her lips. Blot that with a tissue and use Honeylove Lipstick, also by MAC."

Kim K's Blog: Get The Look: Spoiled Pretty's Beauty Breakdown with Mario

My wonderful makeup artist Mario chatted with the ladies at Spoiled Pretty and gave a really detailed breakdown of the products he used to create my Emmy's look and the steps he used to achieve it.

I really loved this look! I don't wear blue eyeshadow very often but it added something unique to the look and made it bright and fresh. A smokey look would have been too heavy for the dress, so this was so perfect! Mario always knows the exact makeup look to do to compliment an outfit.

I Hosted the Emmys Fashion Police!

Yesterday I hosted the 2009 Emmys Fashion Police with E!'s Giuliana Rancic and Jay Manuel from America's Next Top Model. It was AMAZING!!!!!! I live for fashion so it was such an honor that I was given this opportunity. I seriously couldn't believe they asked me -- I was SO flattered!

I wish I could have gone to the show with my sisters but this definitely made up for it! We talked about fashion's best and worst from the red carpet, and everyone there was so stunning that it was hard to pick out any fashion disasters. LOL. I died for January Jones!!! She looked incredible!

My stylist Monica Rose styled me and I wore an Alexander Wang dress and Christian Louboutin booties, which are the ankle-high boots that I love! So comfy :)

Just wanted to share these pics that Monica took of me. Who do you think were the fashion bests and worsts of the 2009 Emmy Awards???

Edible Louboutins!?

I always thought my Christian Louboutin heels looked good enough to eat… well these ones actually are! I was browsing through a Christian Louboutin fansite and came across a pic of Christian Louboutin macaroons and cupcakes. Yes, really. Somehow this escalated into a full on Google search episode and I stumbled upon these amazing Louboutin-inspired cakes (by ccyhan and BcakeNY) and cookies (by SugarEnvy.) I can’t believe how real these look! I don’t know if I could bring myself to cut into one of those cakes, though!!

Stars Turn Up the Heat With Red Dresses at the Emmys

TREND: Red dresses

WHO'S WEARING IT: Blake Lively (Versace), Hayden Panettiere (J. Mendel), Debra Messing (Michael Kors)

HOW TO WEAR IT: You're already drawing attention to yourself with the bright color, so there's no need for plunging necklines or heavy makeup. Follow Debra's lead and look for subtle details like beading, ruffles, an open back or an asymmetrical neckline to make the dress stand out.

Kim K's Blog: Matt Goss Live From Las Vegas

I went to see Robin Antin's new artist Matt Goss in his show Matt Goss Live from Las Vegas at The Palms. He is phenomenal! If you are in Vegas you must check out the show!

Trendspotted: Deep Blue Handbags

Again this fall we are seeing shades of deep blue in beauty trends. Indigo eyeshadow, Navy mascara, and a rerun from 2008, Midnight blue nail color. The most luxurious shades of midnight-blue nail color are Chanel Blue Satin nail color and Dior Poison Blue. To coordinate with my blue-black nail color a blue-hued handbag is in order. I am loving all of the blue handbag options this season it will pair perfectly with black, my go-to color for this season’s dresses and coats. Some how this darker shade is a refreshing change and putting me in the mood to dress and accessorize for cooler autumn weather.

Some of my picks for beautiful blue handbags for fall are pictured above (from top left, clockwise). Jimmy Choo’s Large Odetta Ponyskin Bag (buy through $3,295 at Net-a-Porter) is detailed with gold-toned hardware and contrast “elaphe” snakeskin straps. On the interior you’ll find patch pockets for all of your essentials and a contrast suede lining with lilac trim. Matt & Nat’s blue crinkled Kala Pool Oversized Zip Clutch is priced right for the stylish Recessionista (buy through Bluefly for $111). The crinkled pleather exterior is complemented with brass-tone hardware studs and zippers. This mini-bag will keep your iPhone at the ready with interior pockets. Halston’s Henry Small Suede Clutch (buy through Net-a-Porter for $1,395) is made of buttery blue suede and sculpted with a double pleat on each side. The matching wristlet strap is wide and flowing, making it the perfect evening-out handbag. I especially love the pewter-tone link hardware, signature logo lining and small interior pocket for safely stashing keys or lipgloss. The ChloĆ© Heloise Satchel (buy through Nordstrom for $1525) is made unique with its braided double leather straps interwoven with gold accents. The lambskin exterior also boasts four pockets and features a zip top closure. A beautiful shade of indigo, this Chloe bag is at the top of our ‘most wanted’ fall shopping list.

Handbag ~ Pick of the Day: Michael Kors Neon Patent Leather Clutch

Available in acid yellow and neon pink, Michael Kors knows how to inject the perfect amount of color punch to your wardrobe. While your outfit may consist of more subdued hues, add a bright pop of vivid patent leather to your clutch. I adore the shape of this clutch, structured with silver hardware and a top hinge closure. The size is more spacious than I would have thought, 8″W x 5.5″H x 1.5″D. Yes, this is a trend for fall but it will transition great into spring as well. Buy through Bloomingdale’s for $595.

Designer Shoe Pick of the Day: London Sole Leopard Ballet Flat

Who said flats can’t be ‘fierce’? I happened to be the proud owner, while I love heels, I most likely and caught out in flats. London Sole produces multiple styles and colors of flats, ranging in everything form sassy to conservative. These flats stand out at my favorite because they aren’t boring-there are magnificently fun. The sizes of the leopard spots are just the perfect sizing. The colors are rich, which I love, and the trim comes in an array of colors. Just love this ballet flat.
