Runway to Red Carpet: 2009 Cannes Film Festival
100 Years Of Hong Kong Cinema Party
I tried, but unfortunately I couldn't find a full length picture of the beautiful Vicky Zhao Wei, in her dazzling Christian Dior Resort 2009 strapless gown.
I love that pink and baby blue beaded bodice. What a vision she is, even from the waist up.
Style Watch: Zip It Up Fashion
Exposed zippers are getting a feminine makeover this spring as they wind their way on dresses (even shoes!) in swirly, asymmetrical designs, as seen on Jessica Stroup, Aubrey O'Day and, just this week at the T-Mobile party, Nicky Hilton. The result? A look that's still edgy but a lot softer. Just keep the jewelry to a minimum—the metal embellishments are already bling-tastic.

Mario Dedivanovic's Blog: my favorite brushes/tools.... 2009-05-16
When it comes to brushes, I can NEVER have enough!
People always joke with me because of how many brushes I have but I really do use all of them. Of course I have my favorites that I use on every makeup application and I’ll share some of them here with u…
This is the #15 brush by Stila that I use all the time. I use the bigger side to apply eyeshadow all over the lid and/or on the brow bone. I like this brush becuase it picks up pigment really well and the shadow doesnt fall off of it (I find that shadow tends to fall off of softer, more fluffy brushes so i use those to blend mostly). The smaller brush on the end is perfect to create a defined thinner crease.
This is the NARS dome brush #13 that I use to blend eyeshadow. Blending is so important with makeup and this brush works really well. Just dip it in some translucent powder and blend away. You can also use this brush to apply shimmer/shine to the cheek bones.
Sephora Professional Platinum Natural Smudge Brush#11. This brush is one of the few that I use to smudge liner for a smokey eye and also to blend shadow on the lower lid. I like a brush that isnt too soft when I’m blending liner.
This is the #11 paintbrush for brows, by BillyBbeauty. (billybbeauty.com) Again, this brush holds the powder pigment really nicely and it isnt too hard or too thin. It basically gives you a defined brow but looks natural.
Another great brush by BillyBbeauty. Its a very lightweight retractable lip brush and the bristles have a nice bend to them that allows you to get a sharp, perfect line.
#15 brush by Stila. I use this brush to apply bronzer and contour. It works especially well on the hollows of the cheeks because it’s a flatter brush. The tip is angled as well - great for detail.

Mario Dedivanovic's Blog: Get Kim Kardashian's Look:
Welcome to my first blog post - “GET THE FACE” 2009-05-16
Hey guys… I know it took me a while to finally start my blog, but here it is!! I’m going to start off with a “Get the Face” post. This is one of my favorite looks that I’ve created for Kim Kardashian and I’ve been getting tons of messages and questions on this look, so here we go baby!! Read below for the products I used.
Feline on top lid. GIELLA b-dazzle shadow on inner corners of eyes. MAC eyepencil in Fascinating on the inner rim of the eye. Brun by MAC swept softly under the eye. TONS of mascara on top and bottom lashes. I filled in the brows with MAC brow pencil in Lingering.
Cheeks - NARS blush in desire on the apples of cheeks. Smashbox bronzer in Suntan Matte on the hollow’s of the cheeks and framing the face, softly. For the glow on the cheekbones, Stila illuminating powder in Gold.
Lips - MAC creme d’ Nude lipstick. Make Up For Ever lip pencil in #50. You can use a gloss for this look but I didn’t because the lipstick is very creamy.

Spotting Kim K: Loving Life in Miami
Spending the weekend in sunny Florida, Kim Kardashian was spotted out for a late night bite to eat on Ocean Drive in Miami on Saturday (May 16).
Having arrived in town earlier in the day, the E! reality sweetheart ventured out to Prime 112 for dinner before making her way back to the Hilton Hotel.
Always loving her trips to the southern Florida hotspot, Kim hit up her Twitter earlier today, telling: "Morning! Miami is so beautiful! I want 2 move here! Ahhh ate too much last night."
Designer Handbag of the Week: Louis Vuitton Miroir Handbag Line
The full Miroir line includes bags representing Louis Vuitton’s most iconic and recognizable shapes: Speedy, Papillon, Keepall, Alma, and Pochette. The line comes in two different colors: Silver and Gold. I must admit that I am not a huge fan of this new line, in fact the silver seems oddly reminiscent of aluminum foil and if you have trouble finding a mirror to touch up your makeup you can always use your bag! In addition, if you’re one of those people who doesn’t like to draw attention to yourself with your bag then this is definitely not for you. Another major problem that is holding me back from loving this line is that the Speedy comes with a price tag of $1330 USD and is made of PVC, therefore causing me to question the durability of such a pricey bag. That said, the frenzy surrounding the Miroir line is unlikely to die down anytime soon and if you.
