Style shout-out: Eva Mendes Roars Into the Venice Film Festival

After a brief stay in New York to launch her bedding line, Eva Mendes has returned to Italy to help kick off yet another film festival. This time, it's the Venice International Film Festival, where she attended a premiere for one of Italy's most expensive movies ever: Baarìa, a $36 million epic starring Monica Bellucci.

But aside from the name of the festival and the films, not much else has changed. Eva still has the same golden tan, she still looks absolutely radiant and she still is wearing her favorite designer, Dolce & Gabbana. Although spotted prints are a staple in the designing duo's collections, this red leopard number is a step in a new direction. It fits right in with the colorful animal-print trend we've been seeing all summer. Eva's is one of our favorites yet.

Summer's Last Hurrah: The Ditsy Floral-Print Frock!

TREND: Ditsy floral-print dresses

WHO'S WEARING IT: Sienna Miller (Diane von Furstenberg), Stephanie Pratt (French Connection), Lindsay Price (Dolce & Gabbana)

HOW TO WEAR IT: The teeny blossoms on the girlie frock pack lots of color, so pair it with neutral pumps. Then, style it with a leather jacket, black tights and booties come fall.

Kim K's Blog: Get Fit with CGC, FIY JBF and Livestrong

I am so thrilled with all the feedback I've gotten from girls working out to my Fit in Your Jeans by Friday DVDs, I've decided to do a free giveaway for the winners of College Gossip Chronicles Get Fit Challenge! The CGC Challenge, sponsored by Lance Armstrong's foundation, Livestrong, aims to challenge NYC students to a 30-day healthy living regimen. 10 contestants will blog their experience and get into the nitty gritty of daily life choices from a college student’s perspective.

I am really proud to have Fit In Your Jeans By Friday sponsor the Get Fit Challenge! Being responsible about your health is a 24/7 activity, not just a one-time quick fix to prepare for the red carpet. The workouts focus on muscle isolation and working with your own body weight; It's not about losing weight, it's about toning up, and getting to your healthiest, not to what the media thinks you should look like. Props to all the contestants! I cant wait to see how the NYC students fit into their jeans by Friday!

Kim K's Blog: Shout Out to Photographer Mike Ruiz

I want to give a shout out to the wonderful Mike Ruiz! He is the photographer behind my King Magazine shoot back in 2007 and my recent YRB goth shoot! Make sure you check out his website and friend him on Facebook!

Take a look at the pics Mike has shot! Thank you, Mike, for your fantastic work!

Monica Rose Blog: Hot Boots!

I know we are going through a major heat wave here in LA but that doesn't mean you can't bring out your killer boots! I just recently got these amazing Report Signature "Fairfax" thigh high boots for Kim. A pair of good basic black thigh high boots are a absolute MUST HAVE for fall! You will wear these with almost every outfit.

I paired the boots with a oversized Otis & Mclain printed dress to accentuate Kim's tiny waist I added this black grosgrain belt by 3.1 Phillip Lim. I purchased both items at one of my favorite boutiques, Diavolina. Kim purchased her necklace in Africa so sorry guys! It's not available in the USA!

Forgot to mention I got her boots at Diavolina too. One stop shop!!

Nicole Richie's Blog: In Nicole's closet: Jean Paul Gaultier

This is one of my favourite Nicole Richie looks.
Back in 2006 she looked amazing in this Jean Paul Gaultier floral print peasant top.
Miss Richie complimented her outfit with Christian Louboutin "Yoyo" pumps.

Lindsay Lohan was spotted wearing the same top.
I don't need to tell you how much I love Nicole, but I prefer Lindsay's strappy sandals, so she wins for me.
What do you think?

Designer Shoe Pick of the Day: Valentino Couture Patent Leather Pumps

Red patent pumps just scream confident, sexy woman, and every gal needs a pair! These Valentino patent leather pumps certainly fit the bill!

These pumps are incredibly sexy, and the perfect shade of red. I love the platform and 5-inch sculpted heel. The only thing I’m not sure of is the red bow. On one hand, I think the bow is fun, and on the other hand, I feel it’s slightly large. But they will most certainly make a statement!

These pumps will look amazing with both casual and dressy dresses. Pair them with a LBD to give it some va va voom!

Handbag ~ Pick of the Day: Valentino Bow Hobo

Of all the bags on display to molest at fine department stores, Valentino bags are my favorite to pick up and feel. The quality of materials used in their bags continues to surprise and delight me, even after eight solid months of writing about handbags for 40 hours per week. And when you combine their obscenely soft leathers with a design so deconstructed, so slouchy, so irresistibly French-looking (despite the fact that the brand itself is Italian), you come up with a bag like this: gorgeous, casually elegant, and not trying too hard in the least. Buy through Saks for $1895.
