I would’ve thought a younger face like Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez or Miley Cyrus would have been more appropriate to promote Disney line.

Anyway the sisters looked fabulous at the unveiling.

37th Annual FiFi Awards

The FiFi Awards, is fragrance industry’s equivalent to the Oscars, where Paris Hilton was honoured with “Female Celebrity Fragrance of the Year” award. Out goes the billowing dresses, and jeweled headbands, and in comes this Georges Chakra Fall 2009 Couture purple dress, with draping, navy bows and jewel encrusted details. She completes the look with her favourite Gina heels.

Paris Hilton gave us a twirl - as she so often does - showing us the full capacity of her fuchsia pink gown. She glows in pink, and I much prefer this gown to the Basil Soda gown she wore to the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Benefit.

I'll give her credit, because it's been a year since we last saw her wore Herve Leger, and this was her own private event. This week saw the grand opening of Dash Miami, where the sisters put on their finest at the Clevelander Hotel, to celebrate the store opening.

Paris Hilton Basil Soda Spring 2009 Couture gown is already dripping with embellishments around the waist, that she needn't have over cooked it. This gown is quite dark and dramatic for Paris. I'm surprised she didn't pick something more sugary.



Michelle Yeoh opted for a purple satin Atelier Versace Fall 2008 gown, with ruffled details on the shoulders, and an open back. She kept her jewelery minimal, with a few diamonds on the bracelet and earrings.

I could have loved Paris Hilton in her silver sequin strapless Zuhair Murad Spring 2009 cocktail dress, with a dramatic bow front, as it looks soooo gorgeous on the runway. The problem for me is that Paris over did the accessories.

Her lapis blue metallic strapless gown, was from the recent Fall 2009 collection.


Lindsay Price didn't pick a show stopping piece like the previous two, but it needn't have been, because her textured silk Carolina Herrera Spring 2009 teal gown, with a marigold bow detail, and cascading ruffles is so charming.

The Kentucky Derby is all about the hats, and their were many beautiful creations on display this weekend. Kim Kardashian's grey hat, with black organza and feathered detailing, was teamed with a sexy white sheath dress, hugging her in all the right places, plus black accessories, including gloves, a clutch, and patent pointy heels.
I love this look, and how she still manages to look sexy.

Social Events Of The Week: 44th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards

Carrie Underwood always looks fantastic on the red carpet, but I feel like she deliberately stepped it up a gear for this event. The 'hint of pink' one-shouldered Randi Rahm gown was so beautiful, elegant and so far away from what I expected, that she was my best dressed for this event.



There were a lot of white gowns on this red carpet, but I particularly loved Jennifer Love Hewitt's. She wore a white flowing, ethereal Robert Rodriguez halter gown, with a tiered bodice.


As much as I love Julianne Hough's gold and bronze beaded v-neck Zuhair Murad gown, I just keep thinking that this is something Carrie Underwood would have worn to this same event maybe 2 years ago. Gorgeous girl, gorgeous dress, but the de ja vu's got me thinking mmmm?
