Remember the dark look Troy Jensen created for my YRM shoot? It was a look I had never tried before... short hair, dark lips, pale skin. It sounds kind of gothic, but it was more classic, like the femme fatales in film noir. Troy just blogged about the products he used to achieve this look and the women that inspired it. Troy drew inspiration from the Stars of the Silent Era including Gloria Swanson, Theda Bara, Clara Bow and Louise Brooks. Amazing! I love how he can take classic looks and reinvent them to make them modern and unique. He truly is a genius. Can you see the similarities between my look and their looks? It's interesting to compare.
