I first came across this A.L.C. Motorcyle leather jacket, when it was first worn by Gwen Stefani, at the Andrea Lieberman A.L.C. collection launch. What I love about the jacket is its tough outer edge, which you would expect from a leather jacket, with the gentle soul of a cardigan, with the jersey lining. The distinctive details are the oversized collar, which flaps open, and the asymmetrical zip closures - 2 diagonal zip pockets on the right front, and 1 at left.
This weekend both Jennifer Lopez and Ashley Tisdale wore this jacket in black and white. Jennifer wore her white version when she arrived at Narita airport to promote Samantha Thavasa bags, whilst Ashley wore the black to Perez Hilton's birthday party. Anne Hathaway wore this jacket back in February, when she attended a pre-Oscars cocktail reception at Cecconi's in LA.
