H&M's Tips for Shopping Jimmy Choo
by Sydne Summer
On November 14, H&M stores will be flooded with women fighting over the new Jimmy Choo collection. We're guessing it will make the Matthew Wiliamson launch look like small potatoes. Because really, what fashionista wouldn't die over the chance to buy red strappy Jimmy Choo sandals for $99?
The retailer is prepared for chaos. On their site, they've compiled a mini how-to-shop guide, explaining that the first 160 people in line will receive a bracelet that denotes a specific shop time. After two hours, the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection will be open to all customers. But nobody, not even the VIPers, is allowed to buy duplicates of the same product. So, sorry, but you and your friends can't have matching faux-fur jackets unless you shop together—and arrive at the crack of dawn. In New York, one girl got in line the night before in order to make sure she got her manicured paws on the Matthew Williamson collection. Fashion trumps pain when there's a deal of a lifetime.
