Who Wore Proenza Schouler Better?

Cameron Diaz was the cover girl for W magazine's May 2008 edition. Within her editorial she wore a Proenza Schouler Fall 2008 sequined top pinned to her as a tight dress. Her dress was teamed with a pair of kick ass Christian Louboutin For Rodarte Fall 2008 studded and spiked heels, which elongated her already long legs.

For Gwyneth Paltrow's July 2008 Harper's Bazaar July 2008 editorial, she wore the same top, as a loose fitting dress, but with Versace Fall 2008 platformed heels.

Cameron's hair was wild and messy, much like you would expect, whereas Gwynie's was pulled back. It is amazing how similar these editorials are.

Runway To Photo Shoot - Sex And The City Girls On the Cover of Marie Claire July 2008

Marie Claire UK have 2 of the SATC girls on their cover, but the US Marie Claire has all 4 of the fab girls gracing their cover. The twist is that only Sarah Jessica Parker's cover, the other girls covers are attached to the magazine underneath SJP's.

Who Wore YSL Better?

Sarah Jessica Parker was the first to wear this YSL Fall 2008 satin sleeveless dress in stone to the Point Foundation hosts Point Honors... The Arts in New York during April 2008. The actress teamed her dress with matching bowed peep-toes and Erickson Beamon necklaces.

Julianne Moore wore a shorter version of the dress in black, with the same belt that appears on the runway. She teamed her dress with black booties.

It is interesting how a mixture of both the actresses dresses, are the complete dress that appeared on the runway. I prefer SJP's version.

Molly Sims in Alberta Ferretti

Molly Sims opted for a dark multi-coloured dress from the Alberta Ferretti Fall 2008 collection, which she teamed with a cork clutch.

Eva Mendes in Calvin Klein

Eva Mendes may be wearing just a plain white Calvin Klein Resort 2008 dress, but I love the detail on the bodice, which narrows at the waist, giving her a sleek silhouette.

Sarah Jessica Parker in L'Wren Scott

Sarah Jessica Parker looked amazing again, wearing a chocolate shimmering L'Wren Scott Fall 2008 turtleneck dress. Only SJP can get away with wearing a dress this tight. Check out the white lace up Louboutin boots.

The haltered dress is embellished with silver sequins, which Lucy accessorizes with a sliver clutch and silver gladiator sandals.

"Bag Borrow Or Steal" The Sex and City Handbag From The Movie

I am sure you must have seen Sex And The City Movie by now, if you haven't what are you waiting for? Other than the clothes, handbags also play a huge part in the movie. In the film, Jennifer Hudson's character Louise, rents bags from Bag Borrow or Steal. In particular she rents Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags. You can borrow her Louis Vuitton Blue Denim Bowly Handbag and her Classic Chanel bag above either for a weekly or monthly. It is not only Louise's bags that appear on the Bag Borrow or Steal site.

Runway to Vanity Fair Photo Shoot July 2008

Here are some extracts from her interview.

On why they named their daughter Shiloh: "It’s a biblical name,” she told me, “but we didn’t name her for that. It was a name my parents almost named their first child—there was a miscarriage: Shiloh Baptist. Because my father had been shooting in Georgia and that was the most southern name [my parents] could come up with. It’s a name I always liked. I used to go under it in hotels: Shiloh Baptist. I’d gone under it when [Brad] called hotel rooms where I was staying."

On how she plans on raising her kids religion-wise: "[My mother] was Catholic but also a child of the 60s. She stopped going to confession at one point because she was having sex before marriage. To me, she represented what religion should be. She never preached. If things didn’t make sense to her, she never just accepted it. I had Communion, but she never forced me to go to church. Brad got me this great thing for Christmas. It’s a bookshelf that has a book on every religion. That’s how we plan to raise our kids. Teach them about all religions. They can pick one or be a student of all of them. We’ll celebrate Kwanzaa for our girl. We’ll celebrate moon and water festivals for our boys. We’ll take them to temples in certain countries. Also to church."

On Brad Pitt coming into her life unexpectedly: "After my last divorce, I said I was absolutely going to marry somebody in another field, an aid worker or something. Then I met Brad, everything I wasn’t looking for, but the best man, the best father I could possibly wish for, you know? I don’t see him as an actor. I see him very much as a dad, as somebody who loves travel and architecture more than being in movies."

On her mother's passing: "When [my mother] passed, I realized that somebody who lives life with that kind of dedication to their family is the most noble. I was aware of it growing up. I admired her. And I loved her. But in her passing she reminded me what matters. And what’s most fun—to put yourself aside for these other little people you’re raising."

Carrie Bradshaw's Manolo Blahnik Pumps

For those of you that have seen the Sex And The City movie, you will recognise these shoes. Despite Christian Louboutin being the shoe designer of the moment, I admire Patricia Fields for making Carrie stay faithful to Manolo Blahnik. In the film Carrie says that these Something Blue Satin Pumps cost $525, so why are Neiman Marcus selling them for $895?

UPDATE: Since writing this post, the shoes have gone up another $50, they are now $945.

Nicole Richie in Alexander Wang

Nicole Richie keeps is sweet and simple in this sleeveless Alexander Wang LBD, which she accessorizes with a dark chocolate clutch and snake-skinned pumps.

In Victoria Beckham's Closet - dvb Aviator Sunglasses

Pretend you're dodging the paparazzi in these yellow trimmed dVb Style Sunglasses Gold Bar Aviator Sunglasses ala Victoria Beckham. The matchy police will not like the fact that the style queen, matched her glasses with her jeans, but that is VB for you. The ex-Spice Girl/now fashion designer, designed these sunglasses which cost $300, and come in a variety of other colours such as black/gold, red and brown.

Who Wore Emanual Ungaro Better?

Eva Longoria graced the red carpet at the 2007 Golden Globe Awards wearing in this navy blue Emanuel Ungaro gown with beaded turquoise straps and a chiffon train. The Desperate Housewives actress wore her hair up to show off her stunning drop earrings, and carried a silver clutch.

TV Reality star and Playboy model, Kim Kardashian attended the - it kid you not - 2008 Golden Nymph Awards at the 48th Monte-Carlo Television Festival wearing the same gown.

I will choose Eva, because with her hair up, she was better able to show off the dress.
