Designer Shoe Pick of the Day: Rock & Republic “Jolene” T-Strap Pump

Again, Rock & Republic just keeps better and better. This “Jolene T-Strap” shoe is incredibly sexy, and I can’t even tell you how much I want it!


Perfect for fall, the black and gray suede straps create beautiful cut-outs for the feet, and the t-strap is very flattering. The 5-inch heel and platform are super sexy!

These shoes will look hot with most anything, but I can’t wait to pair them over black tights—that is if I can sneak them into the house past my grumpy hubby!

Electric blue is such a fun color, and a total easy way to bring the brightness of the 80s into your wardrobe in a more subtle manner. These Rock & Republic “Celina” pumps really do the trick.

These pumps can be made totally modern with ripped jeans, or black skinny pants, or more retro with black leggings and an off the shoulder, oversized sweater and some large hoop earrings.

I love the bright color, and the platform of the shoe. I also like the pendant hanging off the side. It adds a little bit of flavor. These shoes are extremely versatile, but more importantly, are very fun!

Designer Shoe Pick of the Day: Rock & Republic “Nika” Studded Pump

Rock & Republic is one of my favorite edgy brands, and I was thrilled to see some of the fall collection is now available online. This “Nika” studded pump in suede is beyond hot!


The cranberry suede is just amazing. The placement of assorted studs on the heel cap is hot, and I really like that the studs are only visible from the back. It’s almost like a surprise when you get a peek of the back of the shoe. They also complement the metallic silver heel perfectly.

These pumps are also available in a black leather and a gray leather, and really they are all stunning. The cranberry is so striking, and the leather tends to be a little edgier and harder looking. All the shades will look amazing with denim, leggings, dresses and skirts.

D.S Pick of the Day: Rock & Republic “Andi” Platform Sandal

This “Andi” platform sandal is the perfect shoe for spring and summer. I love the bright red patent against the cream platform and heel, and the judicious use of cork on the lined outsole is genius! I like cork for summer, but when used sparingly. I don’t really like some of the shoes we’ve seen where the entire platform was constructed of cork (think Miu Miu). But this little touch is perfect. It says “summer” but it doesn’t overwhelm the shoe.

I’d pair these sandals with anything from summer dresses to shorts. They’re edgy enough that they’ll serve to “toughen” up your summer florals and work well with dark denim at night. They are also available in a black patent.

Pick of the Week: Rock & Republic “Adina” Peep-Toe Slingback

Rock & Republic is quickly becoming one of my new favorite shoe brands. The shoes are always uber sexy and edgy! And it’s nice to find Italian-made shoes at lower prices. These Adina slingback pumps are amazing.
