Handbag ~ Pick of the Day: Prada Tessuto S Tote

Don’t make fun of me for this one. Please? Because I feel like you people are going to make fun of me for this one. I genuinely like it, though, so give it a chance. The Prada Tessuto S Tote is, in my mind, totally adorable. It’s frilly and girly but in a somber black nylon that makes it more wearable than if it were, say, pink suede. For some reason, it reminds me of flamenco dancers and fun costumes and all sorts of over-the-top femininity, and although its price might be a bit steep for nylon, Prada’s Tessuto bags are known to wear extremely well. The one problem that I’ve always had with them, though, is that they’re so austere and unisex-looking; this particular ultra-femme tote certainly doesn’t have that problem. Buy through Saks for $995.

Handbag ~ Pick of the Day: Prada Cervo Lux Print Bowler

The Prada Cervo Lux Print Bowler python skin, this is actually python-printed deerskin which will not be as fragile as many python skins. The coloring of the bag is what I love most. From dark green to a lighter green, this bag has a great dimension to it. There is a goldtone logo in the center and double handle straps. Buy through Saks for $1374. June 4th, 2009

Handbag ~ Pick of the Day: Prada Velluto Wristlet Pouch

Prada Velluto Wristlet Pouch are designed with velvet which is a material little known to the modern handbag market. One is made with mustard velvet and the other with a gold velvet design on top of a blue satin body. That is just it, the mustard, is a color which at times can look beautiful on leather but looks like a baby’s diaper in velvet. Both have a drawstring cinch at the top and a wrist strap. Dimensions are 6″W X 8″H X 5″D. Buy the designed version for $450 via Saks and the mustard version for $395 via Saks. July 13th, 2009 /

D.S Pick of the Day: Prada Cut-out Slingback

Prada Prada Prada! Oh how I can’t get enough of these suede platform pumps with side cutouts.

The side cutouts with ever-so-slight stitching gives the shoe a touch of visible thought, and shoes the true integrity of the design. The platform gives the perfect amount of support on the tall heel, which I always love! I completely imagine myself wearing these not only barefoot, but with tights as well. Black Wolford tights and lace detailed ones as well with a leather jacket and dress. This shoe is so versatile that it is a must for the fall!

D.S Pick of the Day: Prada Cutout Studded Platform Pump

Prada has put out some fabulous shoes lately, but sadly these pumps can’t be included in that list. I think they are quite fugly!

I don’t know if it’s the baby-poop colored leather, the weird, clunky design or the gaudy studs, but this shoe is just not working for me! Plus, take a peek at the price! Holy waste of money Batman! If you’ve just got to have a studded Prada shoe try this Crisscross Sandal or Slingback Shoe Bootie. They are both fabulous, and actually a good bit cheaper than this monstrosity!

Handbag ~ Pick of the Day: Prada Small Vela Cosmetic Case

The Prada Small Vela Cosmetic Case, it is cute and perfect for to throw into your handbag with your makeup essentials. The other major perk is that it is made with Prada nylon, which is easy to clean up any spills. The size, 6½”W X 3″H X 1½”D, is ideal if you want to take some makeup with your for everyday use without it weighing down your bag. I checked my local Prada boutique, Saks, and Neiman Marcus for pink nylon and none of them carried it. Buy through Saks for $150.July 10th, 2009 /

Handbag ~ Pick of the Day: Prada Tessuto & Ricamo Tote

The Prada Tessuto & Ricamo Tote, I was entirely sure that it was Valentino. Partly that’s because of the difficulty of photographing the details of a bag like this, but partly (or maybe mostly), it’s because it really LOOKS like some of the Valentino bags we’ve seen recently. Incredibly intricate, shiny, flower-themed…that’s kind of their thing. And it’s really not Prada’s thing - their aesthetic is much more streamlined and modern, particularly in the bag department.Buy through Saks for $3695.July 16th, 2009

D.S Pick of the Day: Peep-Toe Pumps

I really like these elegant Prada peep-toe pumps. They are sleek and sophisticated at the same time. I also like the small platform and the two-tone upper.

These shoes are timeless and a must have for the fall!

D.H Pick of the Day: Prada Vela Small Crossbody Satchel

The Prada Nylon line is perfect. And even better are the nylon bags being offered in funky and vibrant colors, such as turquoise and aquamarine. I absolutely adore the Prada Vela Small Crossbody Satchel which offers a cute option for a messenger bag. There is a canvas crossbody strap and a zip top closure. The bag touts a designer name, gives a chic little style, and a price that is very reasonable. My parents would have jumped at this opportunity when I was in 7th grade begging for my first designer handbag. Because it is still expensive for a young child, but it is not the price that you can not and will not do because it makes absolutely zero sense. Absolutely cute and perfect gift for under the tree! $310 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Must Have: Prada Butterfly Sunglass

I been wanting the sunglasses since I saw Kim K wearing them, but never got around to buying it. Finally a fair (a good friend) gave it to me as a gift ... I "LOVE" them.. my face is really round so it's really hard for me to find perfect shades..... I think everyone should try them.... as you can see the photo below Kim K loves hers and she wearing them with all different outfits.
