These Jil Sander boots are made of beautiful black leather that is so soft and wearable, you will feel like you aren’t wearing a boot at all. The platform makes for extra comfort. The design of this boot is really what is stunning. Yes, it is a basic black boot, and can be worn as such. But the folding up the boot almost looks like the wrinkles in a pair of jeans after wearing them all day. It gives the boots a very chic, yet subtlely worn in look that I really love. With tights and a sweater dress, you can’t go wrong in these boots, but I think I would kick it up a notch with some colored tights, maybe even an ivory, with a black sweater dress, just for some fun contrast. Either way, the beauty of these boots is that they are basic enough to wear for the every day, but have just enough detail to make them unique.
