D.S Pick of the Day: Sergio Rossi “Perrys” Platform Pump

For more casual looks (and certainly more comfy), I love round-toe pumps with really thick heels. This Sergio Rossi platform pump is very chic, and it will be a great addition to your shoe wardrobe!


I usually have mixed feelings on snake-embossed leather. Most of the time, I would prefer either real skin or just plain leather because the snake-embossed leather can look really fake at times, but I like the look of this pump. This shoe is available in the black, but also a dark gray, which is also a really beautiful color.

I would probably pair these pumps mostly with jeans or trousers for a dressed-up daytime look, but they’ll work with skirts and dresses as well.

Metallics are always a great addition to an outfit to make it go from day to night easily. Throw patent in there, and you will have the perfect day to night outfit. There is something about the combination of the shine and shimmer that will truly make the LBD transform. It would be similar to something straight out of Cinderella.

These Lanvin pumps combine that all, and even some more. The two tone of the bronze metallic and black patent truly make a dressy, fabulous night shoe. Plus the addition of the bow adds a pop of something that will make a basic outfit have a little pizzazz. The stitch detailing throughout is gorgeous. This is a look that can be executed perfectly on a small bag like this one. Versace really ups the ante with this incredibly sexy patent-leather peep-toe pump!


There is just something about this pump that just oozes sexuality, but it’s not over the top or tacky. I love the patent leather, and the sleek look of this pump. The thicker covered platform is sexy, but it’s done in a subtle way so that it doesn’t take away from the elegant shoe.
