Designer Shoe of the Day: Sergio Rossi “Plisse” Peep-Toe Pump

Oooh! That’s exactly what I sighed when I saw this exceptionally beautiful shoe from Sergio Rossi!

What drew me to this shoe in the first place was the beautiful blue hue, but it kept my attention when I saw the intricate plisse treatment of the satin. It’s simply gorgeous. I also love the contrast of the black heel.

D.S Pick of the Day: Sergio Rossi “Ivonne” Ankle Boot

I have an obsession with blue shoes, because great ones are so hard to find, and these Sergio Rossi “Ivonne” Ankle Boots are definitely amazing finds. The dark blue suede is just the right color that it isn’t too dark, but will work fabulously with any color denim.

Personally, I don’t think I would wear denim with these booties. I would prefer to wear them with a cute bronze mini dress, to match the hot exposed zipper that wraps itself around the shoe. Zippers are everywhere this season, and I must say, the exposed ones are definitely topping the list. I love that these booties go a little above the ankle, and therefore, I want to make sure the dress that I pair with them is super mini. But you can also wear them with skinny jeans tucked in. I cannot wait to debut this come fall.

D.S Pick of the Day: Sergio Rossi “Perrys” Platform Pump

For more casual looks (and certainly more comfy), I love round-toe pumps with really thick heels. This Sergio Rossi platform pump is very chic, and it will be a great addition to your shoe wardrobe!


I usually have mixed feelings on snake-embossed leather. Most of the time, I would prefer either real skin or just plain leather because the snake-embossed leather can look really fake at times, but I like the look of this pump. This shoe is available in the black, but also a dark gray, which is also a really beautiful color.

I would probably pair these pumps mostly with jeans or trousers for a dressed-up daytime look, but they’ll work with skirts and dresses as well.

Pick of the Week: Sergio Rossi Zip Back Sandals

I loved this Sergio Rossi sandal in black, but it’s even better in this color! The color is an interesting shade of bluish gray, and actually I’m not sure if I’ve ever even seen a shoe in a color like this, at least not lately. I also love the effect of the zipper continuing down the heel. Very cool!

It’s also nice that this sandal has thick straps. Thin straps can hurt and leave lines on your foot, but with thicker straps you get a similar effect with less pain!

Pick of the Week: Sergio Rossi Ludmilla Sandal

I spotted and absolutely fell in love with this to-die-for Celine Silk Trench at Net-a-Porter! It is such a beautiful color, and would pair perfectly with these Sergio Rossi sandals.

I love the crystal-covered satin. It’s pretty without being garish.
Besides the previously described clothing scenario, you can pair these sandals with so many things. They are a great choice if you want to invest in a pair of nice sandals that you can wear with most evening dresses. I’d even wear them with a pair of dark jeans and dressy top for an evening out.

What was your first Designer Shoes, do you even still remember? My very first designer shoes were Sergio Rossi's stellar “paint drip” black and white peep-toe pumps paint drip , I had purchase at Nordstrom when they were having their winter designer sale.



Is the shoes HOT or what? Pop star Alicia Keyes worked the BET Red Carpet last year wearing Sergio Rossi’s stellar “paint drip” black and white peep-toe pumps. I'm not quite sure about the dress but I LOVE the shoes. The splash patent peep toe dips into last years lust for all things “painterly”, without looking too stupidly Jackson Pollock. Points for Sergio Rossi on that one.
