We caught up with newlywed Khloé Kardashian Odom to get more dish on her personal style.

Fashion Icons: I love Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe. Just the way old Hollywood starlets carried themselves and the things they wore were amazing.

Go-To Designer: It would have to be Dolce & Gabbana. They always do basic stuff that are still really funky. I love the colors. They're always switching it up. They might have a crazy, ruffled skirt with feathers, but it's still wearable if you wear it with a white tank top.

Beauty Must-Haves: I always have to have a nail file in my purse. I hate when I chip my nails—it drives me insane the whole day! I'm also obsessed with Child perfume and Johnson's Baby Lotion. They smell great!

In a Dash: My favorite thing about owning my own boutique is that I get to see the trends before they come out. I get to go to all of the fashion shows. I feel good when people buy the clothes that I pick out because it lets me know that they like my taste.

Style Twin: Kim and I tend to wear the same things at the same time a lot! We hang out together so much that we just end up liking and buying the same stuff.

D.S Pick of the Day: D&G Dolce and Gabbana Black Lace Bow Peeptoe Pumps

These Dolce and Gabbana Black Lace Bow Peeptoe Pumps have me saying Ooh-La-La-Lace! These pumps are very streamlined and so refined, with a delicate heel and a beautiful arch. But onto the real detail of the shoe.

The lace bow in the back of the shoe is truly stunning. I love that it is done in nude with a black lace overlay, so that the bow really becomes the center of attention in the shoe. Nude is a great color because it stands out, but isn’t too bold, and doesn’t distract from the beauty of the design of the shoe. I adore how the lace starts on the sides of the foot, and comes up in a bow at the uppermost point of the shoe, making it rest against the ankle artfully, almost looking like a flower. Paired with a pencil skirt mini, a little black dress or even a nude dress, this is a statement shoe. So keep the outfit minimal, and let the bow do the walking, and the talking.

Handbag ~ Pick of the Day: Dolce & Gabbana Miss Rouche Distressed Tote and Satchel

I really want to like the Dolce & Gabbana Miss Rouche Distressed Tote. It’s punky, edgy, soft, and has a leopard-print lining. It’s not over-designed or overly complicated. The leather is simply left baggy instead of pulled tight at the seams. I bet it’s light, too. But something about this says ‘garbage bag’ to me, and I just can’t shake that thought when I look at it. Perhaps it’s a bit too wrinkly. Maybe it’s the extra strap (which does not look removeable - a pet peeve of mine) that’s coloring my perception. Does this ever happen to any of you? Do you ever look at a bag and really WANT to be impressed, and you just can’t muster it? Buy through Saks for $1,995.


Or maybe it’s just that it’s black. The very similar Miss Rouche Distressed Satchel is hitting a homerun for me (ok, well, sort of), but it comes in a greyish white that makes the purse not quite so…garbage bag. You can also see the slouchy details much more clearly with the lighter color, and the bothersome extra shoulder strap appears to be something that can be removed (thank you Jebus). A much better effort, all in all. It’s the kind of thing that I would be excited to carry - odd, unexpected, not everyone’s taste. I don’t just WANT to like it - I DO like it. The sexy dress had ribbon and metal hook detail down the sides, which only added to accentuating her sexy curves. OMG! I’ve died and gone to dress heaven…

For the first time when I saw this gown, I absolutely fell in love with it. It reminded me the movie Sex in the City when Carrie Bradshaw received Vivienne Westwood wedding gown, you just knew it deep down inside that is the one. The dress is part of the 2008 Fall Collection of Dolce & Gabbana, I would wear it for my wedding reception ceremony cutting the cake and dancing with my prince on the dance floor.
