I wouldn’t normally be drawn to a bronze in this shade, but this Giuseppe Zanotti ankle bootie is truly stunning.


The bronze color really takes center stage, and it looks so rich and opulent. I also love how the straps are placed to create the shoe. It is very geometrically stunning, and it really subtlety reminds me of origami.

I’d probably stick to simple outfits when pairing these booties, so they will really stand out. Black, cream and browns and other warm colors will all look beautiful with the bronze.

The pewter patent leather is fabulous. It’s a great alternative to silver. Actually I prefer it more because silver leather can go garish at times. My favorite part of this pump is the way the leather is shaped at the vamp and toe. I just love the way it looks. I also love the contrast of the silver heel with the pewter.

Metallic really does go with everything, and should be treated as a neutral. I would pair these sleek pumps with everything from dark denim (hot!) to dresses in any style and color. These pumps will take you through the season and beyond!

I really love gunmetal, I think it’s such a sexier version of silver, and paired with black, it screams HOT. The woven detail of this design is really what draws me to the shoe, and I love the gunmetal embroidery in the black leather as well. While I wish this shoe had a platform, I really love the simplicity of the shoe, and its wearability. From jeans to a hot little black dress, this shoe can transition from day to night with ease. The gunmetal adds just enough shine to make these shoes have an extra uumph to them. Silver and black has a definite punk feel, and I would love to pair these with TONS of gunmetal jewelry, bangles and necklaces, some ripped skinny jeans and a black tank, such an easy outfit, that is easily thrown together, and totally sophisticated. Metallics are always fun to play with, and I love how this shoe does it - with subtle edge.
