Kim K's Blog: Get The Look: Mario's TWIP of the Day: My Bday Lips

I absolutely loved the makeup look Mario gave me for my LA birthday dinner! To die for! We've been experimenting with eyeliner recently and this was one of the looks Mario came up with... it worked perfectly with the nude lips! To find out what products Mario used to create the nude lips look, head over to his blog! I'll make sure he does a full 'Get the Face' for my birthday look, because it's one of my favorite recent looks!

Kim K's Blog: Get The Look: My NY Fashion Week Hair

Spoiled Pretty met up with Rolando Beauchamp, the man behind my New York Fashion Week hairstyles! Check out the video below to see what products Rolando used on my hair and how he created all my fabulous fashion week looks. One of my favorites was the Ava Gardner look! I put a side by side of Ava and myself in the gallery so you can see how the hair compared! What do you think of the 1940s style?

I usually wear my hair long or slick it back for a more sophisticated, sleek look, but I love that I can pin it back to give the illusion of a shorter bob without cutting it. I really love trying new things and Rolando really worked his magic!

For Kim's look, I wanted it to be fresh, sexy, and glowing. I first evened out her complexion by mixing a highlighting luminizing foundation, a soft golden liquid foundation, and a liquid moisturizer. Then I dabbed on a touch of concealer and blended well and set with a loose mineral powder. For cheeks, I blended on a bronzer/soft peach cheek color for a soft glow. On Kim's eyes, I first defined and groomed her beautifully shaped eyebrows. Then I used soft brown eye-shadow to lightly contour her eyes and a deep brown eyeliner to lightly define the eyes. Then I curled and coated her lashes with black mascara. For the lips, I kept them very sheer and neutral by lining them with a soft peach lip-liner and filled them in with a pale pink lip-liner. Finally, I topped off the lips with a sheer beige gloss for a sexy pout.

Nicole Richie's Blog: Get The Look

Nicole Richie: MAC Liquid Liner ($16.50) in Boot Black, MAC Eye Shadow ($14.50) in Carbon, MAC 266 Small Angle Brush ($19.50), Shu Uemura Mini Eyelash Curler ($17), Maybelline Great Lash Mascara ($5) in Very Black.
We'll close today's Celebrity Picks story with a liner lesson from the queen of cat-eyes herself: the one and only Nicole Richie. When it comes to artfully executed eyeliner, Richie's simply the best, and, as you'd expect from an expert, she has a detailed list of products and a step-by-step process, which she kindly disclosed for our readers' edification. She starts by applying MAC Liquid Eye Liner ($16.50) in Boot Black along her lash line. Then, after the liner dries, she then emphasizes her handiwork, using a small slanted brush and black eye shadow, specifically MAC's 266 Small Angle Brush ($19.50) and Eye Shadow ($14.50) in Carbon. Next, Richie curls her lashes with shu uemura's Mini Eyelash Curler ($17). She recommends heating the tool with a quick shot of hot air from a hair dryer first, as this will ensure your lashes stay curled. The final touch is a few coats of Maybelline Great Lash Mascara ($5) in Very Black and voila! Perfection, the Richie way.

Troy Jesen's Blog: Get The Look: "Glowy Khloe" in Dior for Maxim's Hot 100 Party!

As a celebrity makeup artist, it is my job to bring you the latest and the greatest of products, tips, and trends. My friends at Dior sent me some beautiful palettes to play with and when Khloe Kardashian asked me to glam her up for Maxim's Hot 100 Party, it was a perfect opportunity to give her a dramatic eye and radiant glow. The talented Clyde Haygood gave her sexy straight hair and her younger sister Kylie was my trusted makeup assistant, dusting a bronzing shimmer powder all over Khloe's body. Kylie also had several outfit changes while we did Khloe's makeup and that kept us entertained. I hope you've enjoyed the two completely different looks I've created with Khloe this week.

The look...

I blended liquid foundation a few shades warmer than Khloe's natural skin tone to give her a sun-kissed, healthy glow. I then dusted the bronzing powder into her cheeks, along her jawline, and across her forehead. I blended a sunny peach blush across her cheeks, chest, and shoulders for extra radiance. For the eyes, I blended a creme shimmery black eye shadow just to her upper lid. Then lined her upper eyelid with liquid eye liner, curled and coated her lashes with black mascara, and drew a very thin Black line below her bottom lashes, and a lined the inside with a soft white eyeliner to open and brighten Khloe's eye's. I wanted this look to be sensual and dramatic not over done. For the lips, I applied a sheer gold lip gloss that came in the bronzing Dior kit,"loved"the shimmery gold glosss with my sexy smokey eye. After I finished the look, I shot a few pictures of Khloe around her parents beautiful new home. Khloe looked amazing on the red carpet. She looked sexy, glowing and can you believe that body? Amazing!! So if you like this look, you better put a comment on it!! I want to hear what you think. xoxo Tj
