On January 13 I will be hosting The Ultimate Salad Lunch Date with Carl's Jr! It's a online live streaming event on Carl's Jr's Facebook page and you can all join me for lunch! I'll be chatting with you guys via webcam and answering your questions... it's basically a giant salad lunch party for me and all my fans!!

Kim K's Blog: I Want to Clear Something Up....

I want to clear this up because there has been a lot of talk about this. Carl's Jr did not pay me to tweet about their salads. Yes, obviously I was paid to be in the commercial... we all have to work! But I was not paid to tweet or talk about the salads on my blog, Facebook account, MySpace account or any other online outlets. Am I not allowed to talk about something I like without people assuming I must have been paid to do it? I want my fans to know what products, gadgets, foods, clothes and beauty products I like and I love sharing all that with my fans. You all know I've posted about certain clothes and products on my blog since I started blogging two years ago.

Kim earns $10K per tweet

According to recent reports Kim Kardashian earns a whopping $10,000 per tweet when she promotes various companies.

Kim, who has 2.7 million followers, earns the big bucks as part of her contract with in-stream advertising company Ad.ly, which helps celebrities make money off their Twitter accounts.

Usually the celebrities are limited to one such commercial tweet per day. Kardashian promotes Reebok and Carl’s Jr., among other companies, and five of her last 30 tweets mention one of the companies.

He is the mastermind behind a lot of great music videos like Rhianna's "Umbrella". Kim Kardashian promotes Carl’s Jr. Premium Salads

Kim Kardashian is the new face of Carl’s Jr. Premium Salads. “I’m always down for a burger, I love them and I eat them,” says Kardashian, 28. “But this is the first commercial they’ve ever done for anything but a burger. The salads are healthy, and it totally fits what I’m about right now.”

“The commercials are iconic. You’ll never forget Paris washing that car! So I just wanted to make mine as hot and sultry as all of theirs.”


The reality star got into making the spot her own. “I told them about my life and how I’m such a neat freak, but I love to have bed picnics – I put out my towel and eat in bed, and then when it gets all messy I take a hot bubble bath after to wash it off. You’ll see that sexy wow factor in this one.”

The now notoriously healthy eater still indulges in a little red meat now and again, but it is childhood Carl’s Jr. memories that she still holds dear to her heart. “When Kourtney went to school in Arizona we drove out there for the first time and stopped and of course got burgers,” she recalls.

“And driving to Las Vegas, my dad would take the family and we’d stay at Circus Circus and we always stopped at Carl’s Jr,” she says. “I remember this food fight my sisters and I all had in the back of the van – it was so funny. We got in so much trouble!”

I've teamed up with Carl's Jr to make a sexy new commercial for their premium salad range!

I love Carl's Jr... we used to go a lot as kids, and I do love a good burger every now and then! But I'm trying to be a lot healthier and the new premium salad range really fits in with my healthier lifestyle.

You can definitely eat fast food and still try to be healthy! It's just about balance and picking the right foods.
