Kim K's Blog: Thin Dependence Fit in Their Jeans by Friday

I was sooo thrilled when I came across this post on ThinDependence.com. Alissa worked out to my Fit in Your Jeans by Friday workout DVDs for just five days and said she couldn't be happier with the results!

"I never thought you could see results in just five days," said Alissa. "Kim did a great job motivating while looking fabulous of course (does the girl sweat?!?!) She’s got some major self-confidence to get up there and do this video. So, Kim, thanks for the great work out!"

Thank you Alissa!! And yes, I do sweat, haha. Trust me, it's even worse with those lights on you while the cameras roll, haha. It makes all the work I put into making the DVDs worth while knowing that so many of you have benefited from the workouts. I hope your stories are inspiring others, too! Check out Alissa's pics (the after pics are on the left.)

Looking good Alissa! Keep up the hard work you guys!

Giuliana Rancic's Guide to Los Angeles

Tue., Jul. 7, 2009 4:51 PM PDT by Giuliana Rancic

Bill and Giuliana Rancic are madly, loudly, hilariously in love. The long-distance married couple—he's in Chicago, she's in Los Angeles—share their adventures in the Style Network's new series Giuliana & Bill, premiering August 5 @ 9/8c. Can't wait for this real-life romantic comedy? Keep reading for Giuliana's favorite cozy-couple spots in Los Angeles.
Santa Monica Church, Bill and Giuliana City Guide

Santa Monica Catholic Church
Santa Monica
Bill and I are both Catholic and go to church every Sunday. We have been truly blessed and feel it is important to be grateful for what we have and show our gratitude every day of our lives.

Nobu Sushi Restaurant
Malibu
We had our first date here. It was on a Sunday night; he picked me up at 6 p.m., and we had a long, great drive down Pacific Coast Highway on the edge of the ocean to Nobu. We each knew we had met our match on this date.

Casa del Mar Hotel
Santa Monica
Before our date at Nobu, Bill and I stopped here for a cocktail. We hit it off instantly. Within an hour, we were both looking at our BlackBerrys and making plans for six months out. Bill and I pass the hotel on our weekly runs, and we always look up at it and give each other a pat on the back and a smile. It's a great memory.

AMC Cinemas
Century City
Bill and I love to throw on our sweats and head out to a movie on Sunday nights. This theater is in a great mall with a killer food court. They have delicious brown rice sushi that we carry out and eat during the movie. Beats the calories in popcorn! Yummy!

Yogurtland
Hollywood
We go to the La Brea location, where we prepare our own frozen yogurt. We love the fro-yo!
Third Street Promenade

Third Street Promenade
Santa Monica
Three blocks of great stores and some "interesting" street performers. We live just around the corner, so we are often walking down the Promenade...I'm staring in the store windows, and Bill is staring at the performers. He loves watching them and supporting them. Sometimes the people are kinda scary, but other times they can be pretty entertaining.

Ocean Avenue Running Path
Santa Monica
On any given weekend, Bill and I are running down Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica toward Venice for our weekly seven-mile outdoor run. We used to listen to our iPods, but now we just chat the whole way. It makes the time go by, and we get to catch up and talk about life.

Santa Monica Stairs
Santa Monica
We love to run up and down the stairs, four times each way. It's a great place to spot celebs.

Niketown
Beverly Hills
A store where Bill and I can both enjoy shopping for all our athletic gear.

Siri Thai Massage Center
Westwood
Bill and I discovered this little hole in the wall about a year ago and now go all the time. The Thai girls give the best massages, and you can't beat the $45/hour price tag. Bill loves a great massage, but I give the worst massages in the world—so I make sure we go every week.
Byron and Tracey Salon, Bill and Giuliana City Guide

Byron and Tracey Salon
Beverly Hills
This is where I get my hair highlighted and Bill gets his hair cut. We like going together.

A Votre Sante
Brentwood
Bill and I love this place for Saturday and Sunday breakfast. They have super-healthy, organic, delicious food, and we crave it after a long run on the boardwalk.

Montage
Laguna Beach
This resort is only a 45-minute drive from town, and we love to put the top down and go for a romantic getaway!

Nicole Richie in Spurluxe summer 2009

Back in April Miss Richie was spotted at a photoshoot.
She was posing for the Japanese magazine Spurluxe.
Any Japanese speakers in the house?
I'm so curious to know what the article says.

D.S Pick of the Day: Betsey Johnson “Calandra” Mary Jane

This satin pump is a fabulous reinterpretation of the classic Mary Jane. Sometimes you just want to be a girly girl, and this is the shoe for that! The gray satin is a nice color choice, and it perfectly contrasts with the black ribbon trim. The whipstitched ribbon detail is visually stunning, and I love that it culminates in a big floppy bow. And it almost goes without saying that I’m obsessed with the hot pink sole!

These shoes are perfect to wear with a LBD, and you’ll definitely feel “pretty…oh so pretty” in these babies! Sure, this is not the look I might go for all the time, but sometimes it’s fun to let go and embrace that inner girly girl!

Handbag ~ Pick of the Day: Louis Vuitton Damier Neverfull

Vuitton’s canvas wears like few other materials, and a bicolor material like Damier can be paired with a variety of clothing choices. For maximum versatility, I’d go with the MM - not too big, not too small, perfect for lots of uses. Buy through eLuxury for $700.
